Queen Latifah says The Equalizer co-creator Richard Lindheim was involved with her CBS reboot before his death last week

“He got to see the finished project before he transitioned and he felt very positive about it,” Latifah says of Lindheim, who died of heart failure on Jan. 18. Executive producer Debra Martin Chase adds: “He gave us his blessing, he gave us his baby.
