The Mindy Project alum Ambudkar will reunite with Mindy Kaling for her Netflix coming-of-age comedy, playing Mr. Kulkarni, the coolest teacher on staff at Sherman Oaks High who is buddies with Devi. Byrne will play Evan, a head research assistant in Kamala’s program at Caltech.
