Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will air on The CW as a Thanksgiving Week event

Gilmore Girls is returning to The CW after 13 years for the four-night airing of 2016's A Year in the Life, kicking off on Nov. 23. The series will also stream for free on the ad-supported CW app and CWTV.com for 30 days following its linear debut. Gilmore Girls helped launch The CW with its seventh and final season in the 2006-07 season. The news was timed with Gilmore Girls' 20th anniversary today.
