Netflix taps Tom Hiddleston to star in British political thriller White Stork

Hiddleston, who's already starring in the Disney+ limited series Loki, will lead the 10-episode series about the paradox of truth in a post-truth world. Written by Christopher Dunlop, White Stork follows Hiddleston's James Cooper, a man selected to run for a seat in the British parliament. But in the vetting process, it's discovered that he has potentially damaging secrets in his past -- secrets that could blow up his career, his marriage and even the powerful people backing his campaign.
