Nell Scovell now holds the record for longest amount of time between writing The Simpsons episodes -- 30 years

The acclaimed writer's first Simpsons episode, "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish," aired on Jan. 24, 1991. Her second episode, "Sorry Not Sorry," aired last night. In between, Scovell created Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and wrote for Monk, The Muppets, NCIS, Charmed, Coach and Murphy Brown. "Fans of @TheSimpsons trivia: I now hold the record for longest amount of time between writing episodes," tweeted Scovell. "30 years. Please watch. And if you miss tonight's episode, see you in 2050."
