Nat Geo announces an Iran Hostage Crisis limited series, plus Jane Goodall: The Hope

Genius showrunner Ken Biller will adapt Mark Bowden's 2006 nonfiction book Guests of the Ayatollah, which tells the story of the Iran Hostage Crisis. Nat Geo says the limited series "takes a global, 360-degree view of the events that unfolded on and after Nov. 4, 1979." Nat Geo also announced it's following up its 2017 Jane Goodall documentary Jane with a two-hour special on the legendary British primatologist, titled Jane Goodall: The Hope.
