NYPD Blue reboot pilot has its first cast member: Alona Tal

The Veronica Mars, SEAL Team and Hand of God vet will play one of four main roles and the female lead of the NYPD Blue sequel series that revolves around Detective Andy Sipowicz's son, Theo. Tal will play Detective Nicole Lazarus. According to Deadline, "Nicole has a tangled personal life; her soon-to-be-ex-husband is divorcing her, and he’s trying to get his mitts on a slice of her pension. She’s trying to ease the pain by having a no-strings affair."
