NBC's Council of Dads will premiere after This Is Us' season finale, then take a month off before moving to the Thursday 8 p.m. timeslot

The Sarah Wayne Callies-led family drama was originally supposed to take over This Is Us' Tuesday timeslot after premiering on March 10. Instead, Council of Dads' premiere has been delayed two weeks to after the This Is Us Season 4 finale on March 24. Council of Dads' second episode will air more than a month later, on April 30, in its regular Thursday at 8 p.m. timeslot. The scheduling is similar to Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, which premiered after Ellen's Game of Games on Jan. 7 and returned for its second episode on Feb. 16.
