NBC pulls Nurses episode accused of being anti-Semitic

The Canadian medical drama was accused of anti-Semitism over a scene showing a Hasidic Jewish man refusing a bone graft from a non-Jew. “The writers of this scene check all the boxes of ignorance and pernicious negative stereotypes," the Simon Wiesenthal Center said of the episode. “In one scene, NBC has insulted and demonized religious Jews and Judaism." NBC has opted to pull the episode from digital and future airings.
