NBC officially names Melissa Stark sideline reporter for Sunday Night Football

“I was sort of just stunned...I didn’t know if I’d ever come back.” Stark says of being asked to return to the sidelines for the NFL's top game of the week after serving in the same capacity on ABC's Monday Night Football from 2000 to 2003. It was Sunday Night Football executive producer Fred Gaudelli, who worked with Stark on MNF, who contacted her out of the blue to pitch the job to her. Stark will join the new Sunday Night Football team of Mike Tirico and Cris Colinsworth this fall.
