NBC developing an American version of autism drama The A Word

The Israeli autism drama Yellow Peppers has already spawned several adaptations, including a BBC version that aired on SundanceTV. Now NBC is developing its own version of the character drama that explores a family’s emotional journey of raising their young son with autism from former Elementary and Dexter producer Arika Mittman.
