McNearney, who in addition to being Kimmel's wife works as Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s co-head writer, finds it annoying that he makes artistic pancakes for their kids. "I know him in the morning, and he’s annoying," she writes. "Really annoying. And not in a typical way. Oh no. Never typical. He’s annoying in a highly productive, quietly creative, intensely aggravating way...He makes pancakes. And not your average pancakes. He makes art. With pancake batter. Like a lumberjack psychopath."
