Mindy Kaling denounces President Trump's intention to end birthright citizenship

Trump floated his plan in a preview of the upcoming four-part HBO documentary series Axios on HBO, saying he intends to sign a n executive order ending birthright citizenship -- even though birthright citizenship is a key part of the U.S. constitution. "Wait," Kaling tweeted in response to the news. "I was born in the United States to two Indian professionals who later became proud citizens of this country. So... now I would be a citizen of India? My contributions to this country would be as a foreigner with no rights?"
