The This Is Us star's production company has sold Hometown Saints, a script about a retired hockey player who reluctantly coaches a girl’s high school team in his hockey-crazed Minnesota hometown, to Disney's 20th Television. If picked up to series, Hometown Saints would be part of a growing list of recent shows and movies revolving around sports coaches, including Disney+'s The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and Big Shot.
