Michael Schur teams with Broad City vets for an HBO Max dark comedy

The forthcoming streaming service has given a pilot order to an untitled comedy pilot "on the dark mentorship between two women from different generations — a Las Vegas diva and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old," per The Hollywood Reporter. Schur will serve executive producer, while Broad City alums Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs and Jen Statsky will write the potential series.
