Michael Rapaport is forming a company with shoe mogul Steve Madden after signing on to play him in a limited series

In April, Rapaport boarded a limited series in which he'll play the shoe designer, entrepreneur and ex-convict. Now they're forming a production company together called 212Works. “We met and hit it off,” says Rapaport. “I have a lot of respect for what he accomplished in business. But getting to know him, I think we’re on the same page about creating content. And I find him very inspiring." Madden adds that he's a big fan of Rapaport's work. “Turn on the TV and he’s in every movie,” Madden says. “And he has a second life as a basketball fanatic extraordinaire. He’s got this whole other thing going with his rants.”
