Mary J. Blige will star in Power's first prequel series: Power Book II: Ghost

Power creator Courtney A. Kemp revealed the first of several potential prequel series while promoting her Starz series' final season at the TV press tour. The prequel will "continue the journey of some of Power's most controversial characters," Kemp said. But despite its title, it won't necessarily focus on Omari Hardwick's James "Ghost" St. Patrick character. Blige joined 50 Cent and Kemp for the announcement. "I've known so many Tashas, I've known so many Ghosts. I've dated so many Ghosts," Blige said. "I'm a huge fan for life, and I'm so grateful to be a part of it."
