Maniac creator to helm two new series for WarnerMedia's streaming service, including Hiro Murai's Station Eleven

Patrick Somerville will oversee Made for Love, a 10-episode comedy series adaptation of Alissa Nutting's novel of the same name. Made for Love follows a 30-something woman who is fleeing her suffocating marriage to her unstable tech billionaire husband when she learns he had a revolutionary monitoring device -- the "Made for Love" -- implanted in her brain to track her. Somerville and Murai will oversee Station Eleven, a 10-episode limited series based on the novel by Emily St. John Mandel telling "the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost."
