Malin Akerman to star in NBC legal drama pilot Prism

As reported earlier this week, Akerman entered network pilot season, but she'll stay on Billions on a recurring basis should the Showtime series be renewed for another season. On Prism, Akerman will play a “brilliantly passionate” public defender who is "equal parts ruthless and empathetic" on a legal drama that is "a provocative exploration of a murder trial in which every episode is told through the perspective of a different key person involved."
