Longtime Warner Bros. TV chairman Peter Roth is stepping down after 22 years -- Channing Dungey may succeed him

During his long tenure, Roth oversaw 32 primetime shows that hit the 100-episode milestone, including The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl, Nip/Tuck, The Mentalist, Pretty Little Liars, Mom, The Closer, The Middle, George Lopez, The Flash, Mike & Molly, Person of Interest, Supernatural, Arrow, Fringe, Shameless, The Vampire Diaries, Third Watch and One Tree Hill. Former ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey, who recently stepped down as Netflix’s VP Original Content after 20 months, is said to be in talks to succeed Roth.
