The British comedian told her joke about the Curb Your Enthusiasm star from her To Catch a D*ck Netflix comedy special while having dinner at his home with his wife. "So I did the joke, and he laughed and went bright red and said, 'You have my permission to use it,'" said Hughes. "So that joke is Larry David–approved. So, yeah. He and his wife are lovely."
