Loki to premiere two days early as Marvel makes Wednesdays "the new Fridays"

Tom Hiddleston announced in a video Marvel released this morning that instead of premiering on Friday, June 11, Loki will debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9, with subsequent episodes released on Wednesdays. "I’ve noticed that in these long superhero montages, Loki tends to get a bit left out, even though arguably he’s incredibly heroic himself — cunning, charming, I could go on," says Hiddleston. "But maybe…why don’t I just prove it to you. Wednesdays are the new Fridays." Marvel's first two Disney+ series, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, were released on Fridays, resulting in both shows generating conversations over the weekend.
