Lin-Manuel Miranda's The Kingkiller Chronicle is being shopped to other networks after Showtime's rejection

The fantasy series adaptation of Patrick Rothfuss' novel has been released by Showtime back to producers at Lionsgate Television, which is now seeking a new network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate is looking to build Kingkiller -- depicting the life and times of a young, famous and magically gifted musician named Kvothe -- as a larger franchise that also includes interactive games and more beyond the film and TV show.
