Lifetime is done with Dance Mom's Abby Lee Miller following racism controversy: Abby's Virtual Dance Off is canceled

The cable network tells The Wrap it has "no plans to air" the quarantine spinoff of Dance Moms that was announced on April 22. Lifetime also tells The Wrap that Season 8 of Dance Moms, which aired last year, was Miller’s final contracted season with the show and she will not be returning, should the series be renewed. On Thursday, Miller apologized to one of two parents who accused her of racist behavior in wake of the George Floyd protests.
