Jones recalled on Late Night with Seth Meyers being 22 during the 1992 riots over the Rodney King verdict. “There was nothing you could’ve said to me back then — I was ready to burn it down,” she said. If she could go back in time, her advice for her younger self would be: "Don’t take that sledgehammer." The only way to bring about true change, she says, is to vote.
