Leanza Cornett, former Miss America winner and Entertainment Tonight contributor, dies at 49

Cornett's ex-husband, fellow ET vet Mark Steines, announced the news that Cornett, who was crowned Miss America in 1993, has died. "It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of my ex-wife," he wrote on social media. "Leanza the mother to our two extraordinary sons Kai and Avery." Cornett reportedly "sustained a serious head injury that required emergency surgery" two weeks ago. In addition to ET, Cornett, co-hosted Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire? and appeared as a reporter on CSI, The Tick and Weeds.
