Letterman YouTuber Don Giller is uploading Late Night's "Hal Gurnee's Network Time Killers Collection" that aired during the 1988 writers' strike. The bits feature some of the strangest comedy of David Letterman's career, according to Letterman biographer Jason Zinoman. "Late Night anticipated a lot of stuff on youtube today, but the comedy of utter indifference to getting your attention here (showing off random melons, making toast, etc) is the opposite of its dominant ethos," tweets Zinoman.
