"Let's face it, if Seinfeld doesn't come along, what happens to me, really?” David says in a GQ cover story interview. “Here's what I think: I think I'm living in a studio apartment in New York. I think I'm miserable doing it. I think I hate everything and everybody, including myself most of all. I think I'm a guy walking down the street, screaming at people for slights like a bump-into without a sorry, things like that.” David also admitted that while it bugged him that the Seinfeld series finale received negative reviews, he's now able to joke about it -- though he won't repeat the same mistake again with Curb. David also insisted he's not the disgruntled person you see on screen. “People are under the wrong impression when it comes to me being happy or not,” he says. “I think most people think that I'm miserable. Or that I'm a very disgruntled person. But I'm not. I have a very good disposition.” ALSO: David adopted a dog and named him Bernie.
