Judge rejects President Trump's bid to dismiss an ex-Apprentice contestant's defamation lawsuit

A New York judge dismissed arguments from Trump's lawyers that he is immune from the suit in state court while serving as president. Judge Jennifer Schechter ruled that there was "absolutely no authority" justifying tossing out litigation over "unofficial conduct." Zervos says that Trump kissed her and groped her breast, an allegation the President called "fake news," resulting in the defamation suit.
