Jon Stewart's outrage forces the U.S. Senate to pass the 9/11 first responders bill

As Charles Pierce points out, the former Daily Show's host's "relentless lobbying" and "game-changing outrage" led to the passage of the bill today in the U.S. Senate by a vote of 97-2. The bill would extend the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund through 2090.
