Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars is expected to cost $100 million, or $10 million an episode

The New York Times reports that Disney's unnamed streaming service has taken on the nickname "Disneyflix" in Hollywood, after Netflix. The Times also reports that the streaming service is expected to spend $10 million an episode for 10 episodes of the live-action Star Wars. Favreau says the streaming service "affords a wonderful opportunity to tell stories that stretch out over multiple chapters." The cost would make the show one of the most expensive on TV.
