John Krasinski: “I don’t think I would have gotten A Quiet Place without Jack Ryan"

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan executive producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form approached Krasinski about the horror movie during preproduction of the Amazon series. Krasinski wasn't interested at first. But he later asked if he could rewrite the script, direct and star in the film, which he began working on five days after wrapping on Jack Ryan.
