Joan Jett to join Carrie Underwood as NBC's Sunday Night Football brings back its original opening theme song

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself for Loving You" was the basis for the original Sunday Night Football theme song, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." This season, Jett will appear with Underwood in Sunday Night Football's opening sequence for a new rendition of "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night." The new rendition replaces "Game On," which faced a torrent of criticism when it debuted last year.
