Jimmy Kimmel and Chris Rock, the last two Oscar hosts, mock this year's host-less ceremony

"You know what we did this year, you and I? We didn't host the Oscars!" Rock jokingly told Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kimmel and Rock were the last two hosts of the Academy Awards, which has gone host-less for three straight years. "We sure didn't!" Kimmel agreed. "It was a real weird feeling of relief to not have been involved in that, at all." Rock quipped of this year's host-less ceremony: "At home, I was like a backseat driver. My father used to say, 'Brake! Brake!' I was like, 'Joke! Joke!'" Kimmel added: "Somebody must have gone to the Oscars and said, have you ever considered subtracting all the humor from the Oscars?"
