Jamie Dornan, Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater to star in Dr. Death podcast-based limited series

Dornan will star in the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a former neurosurgeon who became known as Dr. Death after his surgeries resulted in the death and maiming of multiple patients in Dallas. Duntsch, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2017, was accused of maiming four patients and killing two more. Duntsch's story was turned into the hit podcast Dr. Death from Wondery. The limited series from Universal Content Productions will be adapted from the podcast and shopped to networks and streaming services. Baldwin will portray Robert Henderson, "the quiet and methodical neurosurgeon who believes in the system." Slater will take on the role of Randall Kirby, "the vascular surgeon who is brash and impulsive and ready to burn the system to the ground in the name of justice." Slater's involvement reunites him with UCP, the studio behind Mr. Robot.
