Inside the fall of Amazon programming chief Roy Price

Although Price ordered shows like Transparent and Amy Sherman-Palladino’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, he was criticized for focusing on mostly on male-oriented shows. Price had issues with Good Girls Revolt and not being able to nab Big Little Lies (David E. Kelley recently went public in expressing his frustration in dealing with Amazon). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Price asked a group of his staffers if the two Big Little Lies “stars would ‘show their t*ts' and mused aloud why he would greenlight the show if they didn’t.”
