In a virtual reunion, Melrose Place cast recalled the show taking off with the addition of Heather Locklear

“Heather came on, and suddenly we had a villain, and it just took off," said Courtney Thorne-Smith of Locklear's role of Amanda. Locklear, who participated in the reunion for the Stars in the House YouTube series to raise money for The Actors Fund's coronavirus relief, said "it would be fun to play Amanda again" after reprising the role in The CW's short-lived Melrose Place reboot.
