Hulu is close to bringing back Veronica Mars with Kristen Bell reprising her breakout role

Hulu is finalizing a deal that would have creator Rob Thomas and Bell return for an eight-episode limited Veronica Mars series. "Doing Veronica Mars is not going to interfere with Bell’s duties as star of the NBC comedy series The Good Place," reports Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, who adds: "I hear there have been preliminary conversations about bringing back a number of the other cast members from the original series and followup movie." Veronica Mars originally ran from 2004 to 2007 on UPN and, in its final season, The CW. It returned as crowd-funded movie in 2014.
