The Republican from California, who was trying to delay voting on President Biden's "Build Back Better" plan, had the longest single-camera shot in the history of the U.S. House on TV. McCarthy's speech began at 8:38 p.m. ET Thursday and ended this morning at 5:10 a.m. ET.
