Hillsong Church docuseries is in the works from Vanity Fair

The controversial Australia-based megachurch known for attracting celebrities including Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Chris Pratt and Kevin Durant is getting the docuseries treatment three months after celebrity pastor Carl Lentz was fired amid a cheating scandal. The docuseries, produced by Queer Eye producer Scout Productions and will be shopped around, will be based on a Vanity Fair exposé published Thursday that delved into Hillsong's culture that enabled Lentz.
