HGTV's Good Bones stars reach a settlement with the US Environmental Protection Agency

Mother-daughter stars Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk have agreed that they violated federal lead paint law on their home renovation series. As part of the settlement, they'll pay a $40,000 fine and will produce a video about renovations involving lead-based paint that features Hawk.
