Gugu Mbatha-Raw to star in Apple TV+ thriller Surface from Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon

Apple has given an eight-episode order to Surface, based on an original idea from Veronica West, who helped create the Hulu reboot of High Fidelity. Witherspoon is producing Surface via her Hello Sunshine production company. Details of Surface are being kept under wraps, but production is scheduled to begin early next year.
