Gabrielle Dennis to star in NBC's Someone Out There comedy pilot

Former Rosewood star Dennis, who can currently be seen on A Black Lady Sketch Show, will play the female lead on the comedy pilot from Forever co-creator Matt Hubbard and The Good Place writing team of Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan. The single-camera romantic comedy is about two set-in-their-ways adults, Derek and Chloe (Dennis), who are challenged by very unexpected strangers to become the best versions of themselves in order to find love and possibly each other. Someone Out There was originally set as a pilot last year starring Ryan Hansen and Aimee Carrero, but the cast was released after the pandemic interrupted the 2020 pilot season.
