Fox has doubled down on the NFL -- will it acquire Monday Night Football next?

Following 21st Century Fox's deal with Disney, the Fox network will have a lot of need for unscripted programming, and the NFL fits the bill with Fox opting to acquire Thursday Night Football and the NFL Draft. With ESPN's expensive Monday Night Football deal -- costing $1.9 billion a year -- ending in 2021, there could be a chance that Fox acquires Monday NFL games for its sister cable network FS1. ALSO: ESPN is losing control of the NFL Draft after becoming the only network to broadcast it as a major event.
