Fox execs say they didn't fire Clayne Crawford from Lethal Weapon, but they supported the decision

Fox Television Group CEO Dana Walden says it "was not our choice" to drop Crawford. "Our partners at Warner Bros. came to us about three weeks ago to tell us that they could not deliver Lethal Weapon as we’ve known it, that there were some real challenges in the cast,” he says. ALSO: Fox says canceling Lucifer was a "ratings-based decision."
