Fox News mistakes Patti LaBelle for Aretha Franklin

A photo of singer Patti LaBelle, who had a longstanding feud with The Queen of Soul, was shown in the background during a brief America's Newsroom segment paying tribute to Franklin. UPDATE: Fox News has apologized: “We sincerely apologize to Aretha Franklin’s family and friends," Fox News' Jessica Santostefano said in a statement to The Wrap. "Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.”
