Fancy Nancy to feature an autistic character for World Autism Awareness Day

The Disney Junior series created an autistic character inspired by an 11-year-old autistic boy named George Yionoulis. He and his mother created a video for his fourth-grade class on being autistic. In the April 2 episode, Yionoulis will voice a character who confuses Nancy when he doesn't respond the way she expects, prompting her to learn about autism.
