FX boss: Lack of streaming options hurt Impeachment: American Crime Story

FX CEO John Landgraf pointed out that its deal to have American Crime Story stream exclusively on Netflix at a later date ultimately hurt the Impeachment season. “I think that not being on a streaming platform played to Impeachment’s disadvantage,” Landgraf told Variety. “I think that many more people prefer to consume scripted programming on streaming platforms now and it was not on a streaming platform." Landgraf added that Impeachment's cable ratings were in line with American Crime Story's first two seasons.
