Ex-CBS Evening News staffer files federal sex discrimination lawsuit, alleges she was told to sleep with her supervisor

  • Another sexual harassment scandal has hit CBS News one week after the Charlie Rose debacle. Erin Gee, a former assistant director, claims that her boss at CBS Evening News, Robert Klug, told her she should sleep with the video supervisor whom she was having trouble working with. After filing a complaint, Gee says CBS News demoted her to the weekend newscast. Asked to respond, a CBS spokesperson dismissed Gee's allegations as “wholly without merit, including those directed toward Mr. Klug.”
