Evangeline Lilly is returning to TV in murder mystery drama Albedo for Walmart's video service

Since Lost ended in 2010, Lilly hasn't had any TV roles, starring instead in The Hobbit and Marvel movies. She'll return to TV in sci-fi crime drama Albedo, which Walmart's Vudu video service is making with Canada's Bell Media. Albedo, set 150 years in the future, "will see Lilly play detective Vivien Coleman on the edge of the solar system to investigate a scientist’s mysterious death on board an isolated space station," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "She soon finds herself trapped and cut-off from Earth, along with the station’s small crew of brilliant scientists – all murder suspects and all harboring their own secrets." Albedo was one of six new series announced at Walmart Vudu's "Newfront" presentation this afternoon.
